Join us at Clarks Farm, Armidale for an informative afternoon tailored for local graziers looking to build practical knowledge in grazing management, worm control, ram selection, and capturing livestock data.  

Topics covered:

• Grazing focused paddock session: See first-hand the impacts of set stock versus rotational grazing systems on pastures. Hear from SQNNSW Innovation Hub's Jaimi-lee Edwards about how grazing strategies can influence groundcover, weed burdens and pasture growth, and learn how to identify and manage key summer weeds.

• Worm management: Gain insights into drench resistance in an update from UNE Senior Lecturer Dr Emma Doyle and hear how to best manage worm burdens over summer.

• Selecting genetics for your flock: UNE SMART Farms Associate Director Lu Hogan breaks down how RamSelect can help you make more informed genetic choices to improve flock performance.

• Data driven decisions: Understand the requirements and opportunities of livestock eID from LLS Senior Biosecurity Officer, Ebony Nowlan. Hear practical tips and advice from UNE SMART Farms Manager Raymond Osborne as he showcases the benefits of collecting on-farm data during scanning, shearing and more - including how they do it.
