Vertebrate pesticide induction training Yass

Introductory training course for landholders to become accredited to use vertebrate pesticide products to control pest animals delivered by Local Land Services.

Event details:

Hosted by South East Local Land Services, this face-to-face training in Yass is for landholders who need accreditation to use vertebrate pesticide products such as 1080 and Pindone on their property.

On completion, participants will be accredited to use 1080, Pindone, PAPP, and RHDV products for five years to manage vertebrate pest species.

Training will cover:

• legislation and legal obligations

• baiting techniques

• toxicity

• storage

• transport

• how to reduce non-target exposure.

All training materials and morning tea will be provided.
