Western wild dog forum - White Cliffs

Landholders wanting to increase their knowledge, understanding and ability to more effectively manage wild dogs are warmly invited to attend this free community forum.

Event details

The forum will explore current wild dog management strategies, consider opportunities for improvements and identify any barriers to more strategic and integrated wild dog management programs.

The forum will be independently facilitated and include presentations from:

• local landholders who are members of pest management groups and experienced in wild dog management

• professional wild dog trapper, Matt Beach (Predator Trapping Australia)  

• National Wild Dog Management Coordinator, Greg Misfud  

• NSW Government departments and agencies, including NSW Local Land Services, NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, and the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.  

Breakout sessions will also be a feature of the forum, with attendees split into small groups to share knowledge and help to identify key actions and takeaways from the event.

The forum will be fully catered. Please RSVP by Monday, 10 August, for catering and planning purposes.

Following the event, a dinner will be held at the White Cliffs Hotel. Further information will be available closer to the event.
