Join us for a hands-on introduction to identifying woodland birds of the Central Tablelands. Whether you’re new to birdwatching or looking to sharpen your skills, this relaxed and practical session will help you build confidence in recognising birds found in our local landscapes. 

Throughout the workshop, we’ll explore: 

• essential birdwatching equipment, 

• simple identification techniques, and 

• key features to look for—such as shape, size, behaviour, and calls.  

After the indoor session, we’ll head out on an afternoon field trip to put our new skills into practice and observe local birds in their natural habitat.
