An opportunity for farmers and agronomists to inspect the unique White Clover and Phalaris research trial and hear the latest update on perennial wheat evaluation.
Event details:
Join Central Tablelands Local Land Services for an insightful field event exploring the innovative White Clover and Phalaris research trial design.
Designed for farmers, agronomists and rural resellers working with white clover pasture systems, this event will provide practical insights into the factors influencing white clover establishment, persistence and seed regeneration.
Hear from:
Neil Munday, PhD Candidate, NSW DPIRD, presenting on White Clover and Phalaris competition treatments.
Matt Newell, NSW DPIRD Research Officer, providing an update on perennial wheat evaluation.
Attendees will have the opportunity to inspect the trial, discuss the latest research findings and learn how Phalaris competition influences white clover performance. The session will also provide an update on progress in perennial wheat development and evaluation.
Whether you're advising clients or managing your own pasture system, you'll gain practical knowledge to help inform future pasture management and variety selection decisions.
Note: This is a Come Clean, Go Clean event. Clean vehicles and footwear are required to support on-farm biosecurity.
