Water quality and testing

Quality water is essential for stock to survive, particularly in hot conditions. Water testing can identify a wide range of chemical and physical attributes including:

  • salinity (electrical conductivity)
  • nutrient imbalances (for example, nitrogen, phosphorus, chloride, iron)
  • toxic residues or heavy metals
  • blue-green algae and pathogens
  • and more.
