Regional advisory groups
Riverina Community Advisory Groups represent the views of the region's community and provide advice to the Riverina Local Land Services Board.
Local Community Advisory Groups ensure we meet our community's needs and are a legislative requirement under the Local Land Services Act 2013.
These groups provide the opportunity for Riverina LLS to gain valuable and practical input from members of our community, across a broad range of issues associated with the services provided by Riverina LLS.
These groups provide:
- input into the development of local strategic plans
- input during project planning and development phases
- input on the range of services to be provided
- a forum for focused and sustained discussion
- a link between the Board of Riverina LLS and the community on the issues that need to be addressed by Riverina LLS
- input about the issues important to the community.
The Riverina Local Land Services Community Advisory Group is a committee of key Aboriginal community stakeholder representatives.
These representatives provide advice to assist the Riverina Local Land Services Region in its delivery of actions, services and functions to achieve the key regional priorities identified in the Riverina Aboriginal Engagement Strategy.
