Summary

At the end of the financial year, the organisation recorded a net result of $29.6 million unfavourable compared to budget. This was made up of:

• Income (Revenue): Local Land Services earned $251.5 million, which was $18 million less than budgeted. The reduced income was driven mainly by work which is yet to be complete.
• Spending (Expenditure): Local Land Services spent $267.4 million, which was $25.3 million less than budgeted. This was mainly because the organisation didn’t spend money on activities that are still pending and haven’t been delivered yet.

The above impacts are timing related only and have had no impact to service offerings within the organisation.
