1080 aerial and ground baiting program for wild dog and fox control 2026
Northern Tablelands and North West Local Land Services will undertake a wild dog and fox aerial baiting program.

This notice is for landholders in the North West and Northern Tablelands regions in the area covered from Walgett in the west to Mungindi and Tenterfield in the north, and south to Quirindi.
Northern Tablelands and North West Local Land Services (LLS), in conjunction with NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) and Forestry Corporation of NSW (FCNSW), advise that 1080 poison aerial and ground baiting will be undertaken for the control of wild dogs and foxes.

Important notice to pet and domestic dog owners
1080 baits pose a high risk to pets and domestic dogs. All domestic dogs should be kept restrained and ensure they do not enter the baiting location during and after.
Poisoning operations. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.
