New to the land? Start strong with a free property planning workshop
If you’ve recently bought a rural property, South East Local Land Services is inviting you to take part in a free property planning workshop across various locations in the region.
This practical, one-day workshop will give new and aspiring landholders the confidence to create a personalised property plan and connect with local support.
Participants will explore topics including:
- understanding natural assets on farms
- soil health and water management
- livestock and production basics
- biosecurity responsibilities
- farm safety and resilience
- how to tap into community networks and support.
South East Local Land Services Senior Natural Resource Management Advisor, Simone Horn said the workshop is designed to give people a strong foundation for managing their property.
“Starting out on a new block can feel overwhelming, and this workshop will give landholders the tools and connections they need to set themselves up for success,” Simone said.
“It’s about helping people look at the bigger picture, while also learning practical steps to improve their soil, water and livestock management, and to build resilience into their property.”
Workshops will be held in Gundaroo, Moruya, Moss Vale, Michelago, Berry and Windellama. Spaces are limited, secure your place today.
