North West and Northern Tablelands Local Land Services to undertake aerial and ground baiting for wild dog and fox control

Northern Tablelands and North West Local Land Services will begin a wild dog and fox aerial baiting program.

This notice is for landholders in the North West and Northern Tablelands regions in the area covered from Walgett in the west to Mungindi and Tenterfield in the north, and south to Quirindi.
Northern Tablelands and North West Local Land Services, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) and Forestry Corporation of NSW wish to advise they will be carrying out 1080 poison aerial and ground baiting for wild dog and fox control, commencing 08 May and to be completed by the 30 June 2025.
This baiting program will be carried out in conjunction with the following Wild Dog Control Associations:

Baiting will occur on the following Travelling Stock Reserves:
- TSR R54103
- TSR R55274.
1080 baits pose a high risk to domestic dogs. All domestic dogs should be kept under control and away from baiting areas at all times. Advisory signage will be erected prior to baits being deployed.
