This page lists eligible data breaches under the Mandatory Notification of Data Breaches Scheme, Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998.
Our requirements
The Privacy and Personal Information Act 1998 (PPIP Act) requires us to notify a person affected by a data breach. If it is not reasonably practicable to notify the person individually, we maintain a Public Notification Register in such an event.
Public notification can help reduce the risk to a person of the breach by and encourage them to act by:
- changing their password, or
- monitoring their accounts for suspicious or fraudulent activity.
