Palliative Care Volunteer Roadshow coming to a town near you
The MLHD Palliative Care team is visiting many towns across the district as part of a Volunteer Roadshow to raise awareness of the important role volunteers play in supporting people with life-limiting illness and their families.
Anyone interested in volunteering, learning more about palliative care, or supporting compassionate communities is warmly invited to attend.
Volunteers provide companionship, social support, and practical help - simple things that make a meaningful difference in someone’s day. No clinical experience is required, and full training and ongoing support are provided.
The roadshow will include an opportunity to meet the team, hear from current volunteers about their experiences, and learn how you can get involved in supporting people in your local community.
