Steve Kamper is the Professor of Allied Health for Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. He is a clinical and health services researcher with a track record including >230 peer-reviewed publications and more than $10 million as Chief Investigator in NHMRC and MRFF funding.

His research informs international clinical practice guideline recommendations for people with pain, and his evidence-based practice resources are delivered in health professional training courses in at least 10 countries.
Steve leads the Allied Health Research Support Centre (AHRSC) at NBMLHD who are responsible for increasing the quantity and quality of research activity across the District, he is Chair of the NBMLHD Health Research Ethics Committee, and Senior Editor at the Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy.
