“We can look at data about burden of disease, but until you understand what the community’s priorities are, it’s very hard to deliver meaningful services,” says Brad.
Brad also discusses the value of expanding virtual care, building on already successful models.
“It’s not about keeping people away from hospitals,” says NBMLHD’s Chief Executive, “it’s about delivering the right care in the right place.”
Brad and Matt both encourage consumers to continue playing an active role in shaping the District’s health services.
