About us
Cumberland Hospital provides mental health care and support for people living in Western Sydney and other NSW areas. Our teams offer safe, person centred treatment in both inpatient and community settings. We focus on recovery, dignity, and helping people stay connected with their families, culture, and community.
We care for people who need short and long term assessment, ongoing treatment, or specialised support. Our clinicians include psychiatrists, nurses, allied health clinicians (for example psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists), and peer workers. Together, we work with each person to create a care plan that reflects their goals and needs.
Our inpatient units include Acacia, Banksia, Boronia, Hainsworth, Paringa, Riverview, Waratah, Willow, and Yaralla. Each unit provides structured care in a supportive environment.
We partner with community services and other NSW Health teams to help people transition safely back to their daily lives. Our focus is on early support, clear communication, and improving long term wellbeing.
