The Disaster Recovery Standing Panel is a pre-approved list of suppliers that can quickly provide essential goods and services to help communities recovering from disasters.

Helping communities recover faster
The Disaster Recovery Standing Panel is a NSW Reconstruction Authority initiative that makes it easier to deliver essential goods and services to communities after a disaster. By working with a panel of pre-approved suppliers, recovery support can be mobilised quickly and efficiently to meet recovery needs.
Phase One (closed): Essential equipment hire

Phase One focused on securing suppliers of essential hire equipment–including generators, lighting, furniture, and portable facilities–to support disaster recovery.
Applications closed on Friday, 21 November 2025 and successful suppliers have been notified.
Phase Two (closed): Temporary mobile housing suppliers

Phase Two focused on businesses supplying caravans to join the Disaster Recovery Standing Panel.
The standing panel supports disaster recovery by enabling:
- rapid delivery of essential goods and services after disasters
- better visibility of resources for faster activation
- coordination with local recovery plans
- strong collaboration between government, suppliers, and industry
Submissions closed on Friday, 20 March 2026 and are now being assessed. Successful suppliers will be notified by June 2026.
