NSW Treasury First Nations Advisory Council
The Treasury First Nations Advisory Council (FNAC) was established in 2021 to ensure First Nations voices and perspectives are reflected in Treasury core business, and First Nations dedicated programs and projects.
As an advisory committee to the Treasury Executive Board, the FNAC provides Treasury the opportunity to seek strategic and culturally informed advice from the FNAC across a broad range of Treasury’s work.
The FNAC is represented by the following independent First Nations advisors:
Cath a proud Wiradjuri woman and the Executive Lead for Indigenous Engagement and Reconciliation at Lendlease.
Cath has more than 30 years of construction and property industry management experience and is a Board member of the Queensland Government’s Northwest Hospital and Health Services; Chair of the Dhawura Ngilan Cultural Heritage Business and Investor Initiative; and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Phillipa is a proud Wakka Wakka and Mulinjali woman and Executive Manager Centre of Excellence Indigenous Experience at Commonwealth Bank.
Phillipa has more than 30 years’ experience in media, arts, employment and economic development. Phillipa is the current Chair of the Bangarra Dance Company and has worked in a range of positions including Head of Indigenous Employment and Diversity at the ABC and Director of Indigenous Employment at Deloitte.
Lindon is Industry Professor and Director at Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research at UTS.
Lindon is a descendant of the Yuallaraay people of northwest New South Wales and has worked in Aboriginal Affairs in a range of positions including Director at PwC Indigenous Consulting, CEO of the National Congress of Australia’s First Peoples, and CEO of Tranby Aboriginal College in Glebe.
Ms Dasler is a proud Gamilaroi woman with extensive experience in First Nations health and is a member of the NSW Mental Health Commission Community Advisory Council. Ms Dasler also has extensive experience in community engagement and co-design.
