TPG25-06 Contingency Management Special Access Protocols

The Contingency Management Special Access Protocols (CMSAP) Policy and Guidelines aim to drive transparency and accountability for the cost of delivering major infrastructure projects.

This TPG supports TD25-03 Treasurer's Direction on Contingency Management Special Access Protocols.

Project contingency budgets are a core element of total project costs to address identified project risks. The Policy mandates that for Tier 1 projects and selected other projects as determined by the Treasurer (referred to “Projects”  in this Policy), must provide project specific forecasting to Treasury and obtain Treasury support to access a tranche of contingency.
