In March 2024 the ACT and NSW Governments executed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Regional Collaboration. NSW Premier Chris Minns MP and the ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr MLA signed the agreement. The MoU is a renewed commitment to better service delivery in South East NSW and the Canberra region.
The inaugural agreement was signed by respective Ministers in 2011 and re-signed in 2016 and 2020.
The MoU allows both governments to identify areas of mutual interest. These include:
- Health
