NSW-Victoria cross-border agreement and actions

NSW has a cross-border agreement with Victoria. The agreement helps states collaborate on activities that improve outcomes for border communities.

In May 2025 the Victorian and NSW Governments executed a new Memoranda of Understanding for Cross-Border Collaboration. The MoU is a renewed commitment to deliver better outcomes for cross-border communities. This includes regional economic development, resilience and wellbeing, and service delivery.
