The NSW Government recognises and highlights public sector employees who have positively contributed to the public service every year. Their exceptional achievements are celebrated every year through the Public Service Medal, NSW Service Medallion and the NSW Premier's Awards.
Public Service Medal (PSM)
The Public Service Medal (PSM) recognises outstanding service of public sector employees. Receiving a PSM is an honour, with only 100 recipients awarded nationally each year.
NSW Service Medallion
The NSW Service Medallion is awarded to employees who have completed 40 or more years of meritorious service for the NSW Government. The NSW Service Medallion is commonly referred to as the 40 Year Service Medallion.
NSW Premier's Awards
The NSW Premier's Awards highlight and recognise public sector workers for their outstanding service and exceptional achievements.
