Creating communities which offer excellent experiences, facilities, amenities and programs to enhance the quality of life of residents and visitors.  

Entries to this category may include projects and initiatives which:  

  • Reduce crime and improve community safety  
  • Create and give access to quality green spaces
  • Protect and improve the environment  
  • Provide safe, convenient, accessible and innovative transport solutions
  • Enhance emergency response and disaster support and recovery
  • Promote social cohesion and foster community harmony for example by reducing social isolation, addressing homelessness, contributing to Closing the Gap targets, etc.  
  • Build a state rich with cultural, sporting and leisure activities and amenities
