Role description development guidelines

This Role Description Development Guidelines have been designed to help NSW public sector agencies develop role descriptions that clearly explain the purpose and functions of a role and set appropriate standards for workforce management activities.

These guidelines provide:

  • an overview of role descriptions
  • the work level standards for senior executive roles
  • role description content.
