Government Property Framework
The Government Property Framework is a policy for assessing NSW Government-owned land and property to ensure it directly supports the Government's priorities, specifically land for housing.
The framework supports the Government’s commitment under the National Housing Accord to deliver 377,000 new well-located homes across NSW by 2029, including building 30,000 homes on surplus government land.
It works alongside Land IQ and the work of the Property Audit to identify land and property suitable for housing.
A copy of the Framework can be found as part of Premier's Memorandum 2024-08 Government Property Framework.
