We are pleased to introduce our draft Strategic Plan, which sets the direction for Southern NSW Local Health District over the coming years.
This plan builds on our previous strategy and continues our focus on delivering high‑quality, safe and sustainable healthcare for our communities. It reflects what we have learned, what we know from our data, and what we have heard from staff, communities and partners across the region.

The draft plan builds on the current Strategic Plan, Strategy 2026 (PDF 8.74MB), and reflects what has been learned over time. It draws on service data, population trends and expected future demand for health services. The draft is also informed by extensive consultation. Over the past two years, the District has worked with staff, communities and partners across Southern as part of Clinical Service Planning, including engagement in every local government area.
This draft plan brings those insights together and sets out the proposed priorities for the years ahead.
