Queanbeyan’s Child and Family Health team were on-hand at Pop Up Play Time in the Park at Railway Park in January to join in the messy play, waterplay, crafts, bubbles, songs and stories.
The Child and Family Health Nursing team work closely with the Queanbeyan Children’s Interagency Group to improve outcomes and opportunities for children, supporting programs and events throughout the year. The team recently helped Campbell Page’s Helping Hands Program and Treehouse Queanbeyan bring the Snuggle ‘n Sing program to Bungendore, aligning the program dates with their weekly services in Bungendore, creating an even more accessible and supportive space.
Ten new families have joined the program during Term 4 2024, and our Child and Family Health Nurse is now a regular attendee at the program, providing extra support and helping families feel comfortable discussing their health concerns.
