About Eurobodalla Regional Hospital (ERH)

The Eurobodalla Regional Hospital (ERH) is a new hospital currently under construction on the stunning Southern NSW coast, set to open in 2027 bringing state-of-the-art facilities and expanded services to the region.

Located in south-east Moruya, under four hours drive from Sydney and only two hours from Canberra. ERH will be larger than both the current Batemans Bay and Moruya hospitals combined.  Designed with future growth in mind, ERH has the capacity to expand as the needs of the community evolve.

Key features include a new Intensive Care Unit, an expanded emergency department, increased access to chemotherapy treatments and renal dialysis, surgical and operating theatres, including a day stay surgical unit, ambulatory care for community and outpatient services, paediatrics, maternity, special care nursery, mental health and specialist services, and the district’s first MRI.

Designed with staff input and community needs in mind, ERH will set a new benchmark for modern, patient-centred care on the NSW South Coast.
