First Nations Creation and Professional Development
The First Nations Creation and Professional Development grant delivered $575,313 to 21 First Nations NSW artists and acts in 2024/25 to support the creation, recording and promotion of new music, professional development, and equipment costs.
Supported artists include BARKAA to write and record her debut album and 3% to create, record and release a new album.

The First Nations Industry Development grant delivered $600,000 to 4 First Nations NSW-led organisations in 2024/25 to support programs and resources that build the capacity of First Nations artists, industry professionals and music businesses, address best practice and emerging trends, promote First Nations music in NSW and deliver research and advocacy.
Supported organisations include Mad Proppa Deadly’s ‘Proppa Skills Lab’ and ‘Regional Artist Development Program’ and Twenny47 and Kobie Dee to deliver First Nations led music creation and development workshops.

Industry Development
The Industry Development grant delivered $2.4m to 21 initiatives in 2024/25 to support organisations to deliver programs and resources that build the capacity of artists, industry professionals and music businesses, address best practice and emerging trends, promote music in NSW and deliver research and advocacy.
Supported organisations include Accessible Arts to deliver ‘Songsmiths’, a disability-led program for d/Deaf and disabled artists to collaborate and create music and Yours and Owls Events who will collaborate on a research project on regional music markets using Wollongong as a case study.
