Generations - Western Sydney Music Fellowship 25/26

Generations is a fellowship program in partnership with Sound NSW, Powerhouse Museum and Blacktown Arts to support Western Sydney (early career) contemporary musicians/bands and their development within the NSW music industry.

2026 Generations - Western Sydney Music Fellowship recipients

Program summary

Post-punk band Xiao Xiao and independent R&B artist RISSA are the recipients of the 2026 Generations – Western Sydney Music Fellowship. Each fellow receives $25,000 in funding and in-kind support including industry mentoring, networking opportunities and access to studio space in Blacktown for writing, rehearsals and recordings.
