Program summary
The Soundproofing Grants for Live Music Venues delivered $1.7 million in funding, supporting 21 live music venues with sound mitigation infrastructure support to ensure viability and longevity in the live music sector.
Supported NSW live music venues who have undertaken soundproofing works include the Lord Gladstone Hotel in Chippendale, who have since been approved for a late night hotel license; and The Servo in Port Kembla, who have been able to diversify their programming and increase the frequency and timing of perfromances.
