Strategic Funding in 2025/26 delivered nearly $1m to support the delivery of 6 key initiatives that will provide significant outcomes for the NSW music industry, including the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Music Office (NATSIMO) to deliver a professional development program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander songwriters and music industry workers; Sydney Improvised Music Association to strengthen regional touring networks for jazz musicians; and The Push to support 12 young industry professionals to participate in a youth leadership program in Canberra.
