Venue Upgrade Grants - Infrastructure and Equipment 24/25

This grant is designed to increase the number of fit-for-purpose live music venues across the state, uplift sector knowledge and expertise, improve audience experience and generate greater live music diversity and vibrancy in NSW communities.

Program summary

The Venue Upgrade Grants Infrastructure & Equipment Program in 2024/25 delivered $4.94m to support 30 live music venue's projects in Soundproofing, Ventilation, Accessibility and Energy Efficiency Infrastructure works, as well as Sound, Lighting, Staging and Audio-Visual Equipment upgrades.

Venue Upgrade Grants - Advice & Planning 24/25

This grant is designed support new, existing and established contemporary live music venues in NSW to access expert advice in preparation for future infrastructure upgrades to operate as, or become, fit-for-purpose venues.

Program summary

The Venue Upgrade Grants Infrastructure & Equipment Program in 2024/25 delivered $117,366 to support 9 venue's projects relating to advice and planning, including Development Applications, Acoustic Reports and Infrastructure Planning.
