Applications are now open for NSW contemporary live music venues to support Advice & Planning as well as Infrastructure & Equipment.

Venue Upgrade Grants are designed to increase the number of fit-for-purpose venues across the State, uplift sector expertise, improve audience experience, and generate greater live music diversity and vibrancy in communities.

Advice & Planning 25/26

Funding up to $20,000 for venues to access best-practice advice from consultants and experts, including guidance on DA and planning expenses, legal services, consultants and venue assessment reports.

Infrastructure & Equipment 25/26

Funding up to $150,000 for venues requiring infrastructure development works and the purchase of production equipment.

Advanced Screen & Lighting Technology

Funding of up to $200,000 for venues under 1000 capacity and funding of up to $500,000 for venues over 1000 capacity, will provide venues the means to invest in advanced screen and lighting technology helping to enhance audience experience.
