We are looking for people who speak Tamil, Greek or Tagalog to join the TMHC Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Carer Support Program as Bilingual Group Leaders.
The Transcultural Mental Health Centre (TMHC) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) to join the TMHC CALD Carer Support Program as Bilingual Group Leaders (BGLs) for new language groups in Tamil, Greek and Tagalog.
The BGLs will be engaged on a sessional basis to support carers of people experiencing mental illness through the facilitation of monthly support groups. These groups include educational programs and activities that focus on the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.
The BGL role involves providing social and emotional support to carers by promoting mental health literacy, increasing awareness of referral pathways, and strengthening carers’ self-help and caring skills within a culturally responsive framework.
To submit an EOI, please provide a cover letter addressing the selection criteria, a current resume, and a completed application form.
