Maritime Safety Plan 2026

Transport for NSW has developed the Maritime Safety Plan 2026. It looks to build and expand on successful safety initiatives and respond to the challenge of waterway trauma by drawing on the internationally recognised Safe System approach.

About Maritime Safety Plan 

The Maritime Safety Plan will continue working towards zero fatalities and serious injuries on navigable waterways in NSW by 2056. This ambitious vision is the only one the NSW Government will accept, as even a single incident of trauma on waterways in NSW is one too many.
