Transport for NSW’s Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2026-30 supports the NSW Disability Inclusion Plan 2026-29. It also aligns with Connecting NSW's priority to reduce transport disadvantage. Accessibility is at the centre of how we design and deliver our transport services.
More than 2,500 people helped shape the plan. This included people with disability, carers, community groups and Transport employees. Their feedback and lived experience helped us focus on what matters most.
The plan sets out practical actions to improve access and inclusion. It focuses on 6 priority areas to:
These actions will build accessibility into every part of the journey, so people can travel safely and with confidence.
We will keep listening, learning and using evidence to track our progress and improve over time.
