Travelling from the north-west
You no longer need to transfer to the T1/T9 line at Chatswood to get to the CBD. Sydney Metro is your fastest and most reliable way to get there. With services every 4 minutes in peak periods, travel times to the CBD are up to 18 minutes faster compared to the previous route.
Connect to metro services via local buses, the T9 Northern Line at Epping, the T9 Gordon or T1 North Shore Lines at Chatswood or via Park and Ride at Tallawong, Kellyville, Bella Vista, Hills Showground and Cherrybrook.
Commuters who typically travel by car on the Warringah Freeway can now integrate the Sydney Metro City line’s fast and frequent connections to the CBD into their trip to work, which could mean a smoother and more cost-effective trip.

Travelling from the eastern suburbs

- 20 minutes to Macquarie Park. This will provide a travel saving of over 10 minutes, compared to taking the T1/T9 line from Town Hall Station to catch the Metro from Chatswood.
Bondi Junction
The total trip time from leaving the platform at Bondi Junction will be:
- 17 minutes to Victoria Cross Station during peak periods.
- 19 minutes to Crows Nest Station, which represents a nearly 20 minute saving on the current public transport journey time.
If travelling in via the Light Rail or Sydney Bus network you can connect with Metro services at Central, Gadigal or Martin Place Stations.
