Karen Price
Karen is currently the CEO of Breast Cancer Trials, the largest independent breast cancer research NGO in Australia and New Zealand. She has governance and advisory experience and is an Adjunct Associate Professor with UNSW.

Karen has 25 years’ experience working in various senior Federal and State Government roles, and in the not-for-profit sector.
Her work has been focused in the health sector, where she has lead significant program areas including HIV and LGBTQ+ health, cancer screening and prevention, mental health, aged care, and drug and alcohol policy and programs. For more than a decade, Karen previously held the position of Deputy CEO of ACON, NSW’s leading community-based HIV prevention and LGBTQ+ health organisation.
Karen has a strong track record in service innovation, policy development and implementation, and strategic partnerships. Karen has sat on the NSW Cancer Plan Advisory Committee and the LGBTQ+ Health Strategy Implementation Committee.
She has served on a number of governance boards across her career, and is currently the CEO of Breast Cancer Trials.
