In this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop, artist Deb Michell-Smith will guide participants through simple painting and storytelling prompts to capture a landscape, moment or feeling that connects them to where they belong. |
Women’s Empowerment & Personal Safety Workshop | Narrabri and District Community Aid Service (NDCAS) | Build courage, confidence, and personal power while developing mental strength and practical self-defence skills. Learn how to manage stressful situations, take action during paralysing moments, and explore your own inner strength in a supportive, empowering environment. |
Body, Mind and Breath | Susan Michell | An introductory qigong practise (qi - vital energy, gong - skill) an ancient practice using body, mind and breath, followed by a guided meditation. |
Biosecurity awareness, plant a native instead | Narrabri Shire Council, Clare Felton-Taylor/Deb Bancroft | Engage with Narrabri Shire Council Biosecurity Officers on the key biosecurity concerns for our region. Learn what cactus are not permitted in your garden and take home a native plant. |

Sourdough baking | One23 Café, Alisa Maton | Introduction to sour dough baking. Participants will make their own loaf, learn kneading, shaping and scoring techniques. Take home a jar of starter, and your freshly baked loaf will be available the next day. |
