This year we invite you to pause, reflect and be gentle on yourself.
Country music legend and storyteller Melinda Schneider will share her inspiring message of compassion and self-care, reminding us that true strength is found in kindness to ourselves and others.
Together, we’ll celebrate the resilience and creativity of rural women across NSW, creating space to connect, share stories and be inspired.

Melinda Schneider is a multi-award-winning singer-songwriter, live performer, storyteller, the CEO and founder of MPOWER Records, a sought after key note speaker and a female empowerment activist. Melinda has been a staple for 40 years in Australian entertainment, released a whopping 15 albums and been awarded an incredible six CMAA Golden Guitars.
In 2020 Melinda became an ambassador for the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP) to help raise awareness and end the stigma around depression and will share her Be Gentle with Yourself program. Alongside Melinda’s powerful message, you’ll be able to try a hands-on wellbeing workshop including journalling and weaving, enjoy refreshments and delicious food, visit the photo booth and create magic memories.

Be Gentle on Yourself is a special wellbeing program designed to give rural women the time and space to pause, reflect, and reconnect.
Through music and storytelling, country music singer Melinda Schneider shares her own journey with mental health and the lessons she’s learned about self-care, resilience and finding strength in vulnerability.
The evening will also feature a journalling workshop run by local RAMHP Coordinators, giving participants the chance to reflect and explore practical ways to look after themselves and each other. Everyone who attends will receive a beautiful free journal to take home and continue their self-care journey.

Tammy Galvin is a beef cattle and saffron farmer and community leader from Narrandera, passionate about showcasing the skills and leadership of rural women. She founded the Women of Western Riverina Networking Group to connect, support and inspire women across the region. A 2020 NSW/ACT state finalist in the AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award, Tammy has over 20 years’ experience in natural resource management, sustainable agriculture, biosecurity and community engagement and continues to champion opportunities that help women recognise their value and strengthen their leadership.

Debbie Wood- Weaving Workshop
Unlock your creativity and discover the art of weaving!
Join Gomeroi artist, Debbie Wood in a hands-on workshop exploring the fundamentals of weaving. Using mixed mediums and textiles, including raffia and feathers, see what you can create under Debbie’s guidance.
Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP)- Reflective Journalling Workshop
RAMHP exists for regional, rural and remote people and communities of NSW.
RAMHP’s focus is supporting people and communities who depend on primary production and agriculture, alongside other priority populations, who are at greater risk of mental ill health.
Allow yourself the opportunity to pause, reflect and release through this guided journalling workshop facilitated by RAMHP.
