About our allied health workforce
The allied health workforce in the Western Sydney Local Health District (LHD) includes clinicians from a range of disciplines, such as:
- Dietetics
- Occupational therapy
- Physiotherapy
- Podiatry
- Social work
- Speech pathology
- Medical physics.
They provide diagnostic and therapeutic services across inpatient, ambulatory and community settings. Many clinicians also work in hospital Emergency Departments throughout the LHD.
