Train the trainer course summary

• Starts with a 15-minute pre-course phone call to assess learner needs and motivation.

• Accredited under the Australian Medical Council (AMC) Accreditation of Workplace Based Assessment Providers: Standards and Procedures.
• Helps supervisors and assessors stay familiar with WBA methods, requirements and recent program changes.

Assessment Calibration workshops

• Informal education sessions run onsite by the program director as needed during the year.
• Aim to:
  • Orient assessors to the assessment methods, what they measure and how to apply them.
  • Build assessor awareness of their own performance.

Two-day Professional Development Program for Registrars

• Face-to-face program covering key areas such as:

Clinical Teaching Fellowship Program

The Clinical Teaching Fellowship (CTF) Program is a one-year initiative at Sydney Medical School. It prepares the next generation of clinicians and basic scientists to deliver high-quality medical student teaching.

The program is open to affiliates of the University of Sydney. It offers:
