Coffs Harbour bypass

Girder deliveries for bridge over North Coast Railway line

The Coffs Harbour bypass is continuing to build the new bridge over the North Coast Railway Line, at Shephards Lane west of Pearce Drive. Our next step involves installing 70 precast concrete super-T girders using a 600-tonne crane. The girders weigh about 75 tonnes each and are about 35 metres long. They will be delivered to site using oversize, over mass trucks and pilot vehicles, from Macksville via the Pacific Highway, Bray Street, Mackays Road, Don Patterson Drive and Shephards Lane.
