About Forster coastal bar
The popular mid-north NSW coastal towns of Forster and Tuncurry sit to the south and north sides respectively of the Coolongolook River and Cape Hawke Harbour.
This webcam shows the entrance channel and surrounding offshore waters.
Local waterways include the Wallamba River, Forster Keys and Wallis Lake at the northern end of the Great Lakes region. The twin townships are surrounded by national and marine parks and are popular destinations for boating, fishing, diving, paddling, cruises, whale watching and surfing.
When planning a bar crossing or going offshore, carefully consider the suitability of your vessel to handle the conditions.
