Year 8 students can explore how their personal data is exposed online and how to stay in control.

Students learn to:

  • recognise how personal data is shared - often without realising
  • understand how tecnhology providers use data and how to protect their privacy
  • identify the risks of location sharing and digital tracking
  • keep safe from sextortion, image-based abuse, and how this is covered under the law
  • build a respectful online reputation
  • know how to report online abuse.
