Overview of this event
The session aims to develop teachers’ understanding of the requirements for Proficient Teacher accreditation and provide advice on achieving Proficient Teacher accreditation.
The session covers:
- the Australia Professional Standards for Teachers
- teaching as a professional continuum of career stages linked to accreditation
- understanding standards-based teaching practice
- the journey to Proficient Teacher Accreditation
- visible teaching practice and impact (for casual and short-term teaching roles)
- developing authentic evidence
- annotating evidence
- accreditation decisions.

The session is delivered online. All sessions start promptly at 4:00pm.
