This historical data reports on the number of students who achieved a Top Achiever in Course result in the period 2019–2023. View the gender, location and socio-economic status of students.
About the statistics
The Top Achievers in Course are the students who achieved one of the highest places in an HSC course, and achieved a result in the highest possible band (Band 6 or E4).
The maximum number of places in the Top Achievers depends on the course candidature.
- More than 10,000 students will have 20 places
- More than 1,000 students and up to 10,000 students will have 10 places
- 1,000 or fewer students will have up to 5 places.

Gender
