All non-government schools are required to produce, publicly disclose and submit a 2016 Annual School Report electronically to NESA by Friday 30 June.
Submissions should be made via the NESA registration website RANGS Online.
Annual reporting requirements are detailed in Section 3.10.1 of the Registration Systems and Member Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual and section 5.10.1 of the Registration Systems and Member Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual (‘the Manuals’).
A 2016 review of submitted Annual School Reports found the following areas commonly required improvement:
- identifying trends in student performance over time
- including full text versions of the school’s enrolment policy, including all prerequisites for continuing enrolment
- providing a summary of the school’s anti-bullying policy
- noting changes made to the school’s student welfare, anti-bullying, discipline and complaints and grievance policies.
If you require assistance in accessing RANGS Online, or you need to apply for an online account, please contact Senior Registration Officer, George Kelen on (02) 9367 8280.
