Advice to non-government schools regarding Annual School Reports (2018)
All non-government schools are required to produce, publicly disclose and submit a 2017 Annual School Report electronically to NESA by Saturday 30 June 2018.

Submissions should be made via the NESA registration website RANGS Online.
Annual reporting requirements are detailed in section 3.10.1 of the Registered and Accredited Individual Non-government Schools (NSW) Manualand section 5.10.1 of the Registration Systems and Member Non-government Schools (NSW) Manual.
A 2017 review of submitted Annual School Reports found the following areas commonly required improvement:
- Identifying trends in student performance over time
- Including full text versions of the school’s enrolment policy, including all prerequisites for continuing enrolment
- Providing a summary of the school’s anti-bullying policy
- Identifying changes made to the school's student welfare, anti-bullying, discipline, and complaints and grievance policies
- Identifying how the school's student welfare, anti-bullying, discipline, and complaints and grievance policies are disclosed publicly.
